How it Works: Overview

The idea for CompserSuite came about simply enough: There had to be a better way! The problems we needed to solve included:

  • It was taking too much time to find comparable sale and lease records
  • Records were often misplaced when returned to the file, making them impossible to find
  • Records were kept on appraiser's desks instead of in the files
  • Duplicate information was found in the files, often with conflicting information on the same property or transaction
  • The paperwork on the comparable sales and leases were taking up too much space
  • It took too long to hunt down photos
  • Searching a wide area (for hotels or car washes, for example) was nearly impossible

The answer was quite simple: Let computers do what we couldn't do efficiently without them. And so ComposerSuite was born.

ComposerSuite In a Nutshell

You enter comparable sales and lease data (as much or as little as you like and need) as you get it. To find your comps later, perform a simple search. To create reports, find appropriate comps, choose a template, make any minor report-specific modifications, and presto!, you're done.

Your data takes up no physical space in your office, is available everywhere there is an internet connection, and remains safe and secure in the meantime.

ComposerSuite was developed by appraisers, designers, and technologists with the understanding that daily users of the system were not technicians, but professionals who should not need to waste time learning a new system - it should work intuitively.

ComposerSuite was built with state of the art technologies and solutions, but built to be easy to use and efficient to work with, so you don't have to waste time with the application.

Lots of Search and List Options

ComposerSuite was developed with lots of options for you to find and display comps so you can quickly identify the right choices for your project.

Instead of reloading a page each time you need to filter, remove, or sort your comps, all of these functions are done right in the browser window - in milliseconds rather than minutes.

Customization and Sharing

ComposerSuite's latest edition comes at a time where data sharing and availability is much much higher than when we first started in the 1980's. As a result, we modularized ComposerSuite and used industry standards so that we can take advantage of practically any type of data you need to get into ComposerSuite.

Coming in early 2009, we're going to extend ComposerSuite's data outreach so that even small offices can easily share data with others you choose to electronically.
